Hi, I'm Carlos.

I built California Trusted Pros because finding a contractor shouldn't mean handing your phone number to a lead mill. California already publishes the license record for every contractor in the state, for free. Most people never look at it, and the big sites aren't built to help you look.

So this site does one simple thing. It lists every contractor with an active CSLB license and shows you the facts from the state's file: license number, license classes, expiration date, bond and workers' comp. Each listing carries the date it was checked. Lists run A–Z. Ads are labeled as ads, and there are never more than two on a page. Nobody gets ranked, and nobody can pay to move up.

If you're a homeowner, use it to check whoever you're about to hire. If you're a contractor, your listing is already here and it's free. You can claim it.

[Carlos: add a line or two about who you are, where you live in California, and why this matters to you.]
