What this site is

California Trusted Pros is an independent directory of contractors licensed by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by CSLB or the State of California.

License information

Listings and the "License Verified" stamp come from CSLB's public License Master file as of the date shown. License status can change at any time. Information is provided as-is, without warranties, and may be out of date or incomplete. Always confirm a license directly with CSLB before you hire or pay anyone. The stamp isn't a rating, an endorsement, a recommendation, or a guarantee of anyone's work, insurance or conduct.

No rankings and labeled ads

Lists are shown in a stated neutral order (A–Z). Featured spots are paid advertising, labeled as ads, limited to 2 per page, and don't affect list order or the stamp.

Hiring is your decision

I don't employ, supervise or guarantee any contractor. Any agreement you make is between you and the contractor. To the fullest extent the law allows, California Trusted Pros isn't liable for any loss arising from your dealings with a contractor or your use of this site.

Your submissions

Information you send through a form must be accurate and yours to share. Don't submit anything unlawful, and don't use the forms to spam or impersonate anyone. How I handle submissions is covered in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at volume, disrupt it, or use listings to send unsolicited marketing to contractors.

Contractors

Claiming a listing is free. Paid products aren't on sale yet. When they launch, they'll have their own terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by California law. I may update them from time to time. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
