This license is active (CLEAR) in CSLB's file, but CSLB has a flag on the record: WC Susp Pending. It hasn't been suspended as of the file date, but a workers' comp suspension is marked as pending. Ask the contractor for a current workers' comp certificate or exemption, and check CSLB's live record before you sign or pay. That's why there's no green License Verified stamp here.

Source: CSLB Public Data Portal, License Master file dated Oct 20, 2026. Status can change at any time, so confirm it with CSLB's Instant License Check before you sign. A CSLB record doesn't show general liability insurance, so ask for a certificate. The License Verified stamp means the license was active in that day's file with no CSLB flag on it. It isn't a rating, a recommendation, or a promise about workmanship.
